Is Steve running in my district?
Virginia's redistricting is still fairly new and there are many questions about district lines and polling places.
HD31 includes all of Clarke County and parts of Warren and Frederick Counties. Use your address to confirm your district and polling place.
Directions: On the Virginia Department of Elections interactive map page, enter your home address in the box in the top, right hand corner of the map that says 'find address or place' in light grey font. Click on your address when it appears in the drop down. The map will shift and a small blue pointer and a small grey box will appear on it.
Click on the blue pointer. This will make the grey header in the small information box read 'search results (1 of 2)'. There is a faint triangle to the right of this that, once clicked, will open the second page of the info box, which will list your precinct and voting information.
What voting dates do I need to know?
Info from Virginia Department of Elections website:
Friday, September 22, 2023 - First day of in-person early voting at your local registrar's office.
Monday, October 16, 2023 - Deadline to register to vote, or update an existing registration. (Voters may register after this date, through Election Day, and vote using a provisional ballot).
Friday, October 27, 2023 - Deadline to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you. Your request must be received by your local voter registration office by 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 28, 2023 - Voter registration offices open for early voting.
Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. - The last day of in-person early voting at your local voter registration office.
